REGULATORS

A regulator is a self-contained, self-powered valve and actuator combination that uses the internal pressure of the pipeline for actuation. These devices require no external power and are used for a variety of applications including reducing fluid pressure, controlling temperature, relieving or controlling back pressure, and controlling flow. Regulators are categorized as either direct-operated or pilot-operated.
